Mr Reza Nassab offers Vaser liposuction in Manchester, with consultations at CLNQ in Deansgate Square and surgery at Deansgate Hospital in the city centre. Treatment starts from £8,000 for one area, £9,000 for two and £10,000 for three, and your follow-up appointments can also take place in Manchester, keeping your care close to home if you live in Greater Manchester or the wider North West.

Vaser liposuction in brief

Vaser is an ultrasound-assisted form of liposuction. After the area is filled with tumescent fluid, a slim probe emits ultrasound energy that loosens fat cells, which are then removed through small cannulas. The approach suits adults at a stable weight with localised pockets of fat, such as the abdomen, flanks, back, thighs, arms or under the chin, and it can also be used for more detailed contouring. It is not a weight-loss treatment, and good skin elasticity helps the skin adapt to the new shape. You can read more on the main Vaser liposuction page.

Your consultation at CLNQ, Deansgate Square

Your first appointment is with Mr Nassab himself at CLNQ, Deansgate Square, Manchester. He will listen to what bothers you, examine the areas of concern, assess skin quality and fat thickness, and take a medical history. If Vaser is suitable, he will explain the plan, the likely recovery, the risks and your quote. If another option would suit you better, such as a tummy tuck for loose skin, he will tell you. Photographs are taken for your medical record with your consent. The consultation fee is £150 and is charged separately from any surgery. Consultations are also available at CLNQ in Knutsford if that is more convenient.

The day of surgery at Deansgate Hospital

Vaser liposuction is carried out at Deansgate Hospital in Manchester city centre. On the day you will meet the nursing team and your consultant anaesthetist, and Mr Nassab will review the plan with you and mark the areas to be treated. Depending on the extent of treatment the operation typically takes one to three hours. Many patients go home the same day with a responsible adult, while some stay overnight after larger procedures. You will leave wearing your compression garment with clear written instructions.

Follow-up in Manchester

Aftercare continues locally. Routine reviews are arranged to check the entry points, monitor swelling and make sure your garment fits correctly, and these can be held in Manchester. The team is contactable if you have concerns between appointments. Because swelling takes months to settle, a later review is arranged to assess the result once the tissues have matured.

Travelling from across the North West

Patients come from across Greater Manchester, including Salford, Stockport, Trafford, Bolton and Oldham, as well as Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Yorkshire. If you have a longer journey, it is sensible to arrange for someone to drive you home after surgery, as you will not be able to drive yourself. Plan your first few days at home with support, and allow for travel to review appointments in your diary.

Recovery and aftercare

A compression garment is usually worn for around six weeks. Most people return to desk-based work after about a week and resume full exercise at around six weeks. Contact the team the same day for fever or spreading redness, contact the team urgently for rapid swelling of one area, see your GP or call NHS 111 the same day for one-sided calf pain, and call 999 for chest pain or breathlessness. The Vaser recovery guide explains each stage, and the risks guide covers possible complications.

Cost of Vaser in Manchester

Vaser liposuction starts from £8,000 for one area, £9,000 for two and £10,000 for three, including the surgeon, anaesthetist, hospital and theatre fees, garment and routine follow-up. More extensive or combined plans are quoted at consultation. Finance may be available through Chrysalis Finance, for which Reza Nassab Ltd acts as a credit broker, not a lender. See the Vaser cost guide for details.
