What is 360 Liposuction?

360 liposuction removes fat from all around the body — front, sides and back — to achieve circumferential improvement in body contour. Unlike standard liposuction that targets a single area, 360-degree liposuction treats the full trunk in one procedure. Mr Reza Nassab FRCS (Plast), NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon and BAAPS member, tailors the technique — including VASER where appropriate — to your anatomy and goals.

What are the different types of liposuction?

Liposuction is the procedure to remove fat from the body. There are a number of different techniques that can help break down the fat making it easier to remove such as Vaser or Water Assisted system such as the BodyJet. The liposuction is usually performed with the power assisted device such as MicroAire.

How much fat can be removed?

The amount of fat that can be safely removed depends on your weight and usually limited to a few litres in one procedure. A study published in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal revealed higher rates of complications in patients having higher volumes of liposuction compared to their Body Mass Index.

Will the fat come back after 360 liposuction?

At Reza Nassab Plastic Surgery in Cheshire & Manchester 360 liposuction reduces the number of fat cells in the area of treatment. These cells are removed permanently. If you, however, put on weight then the remaining fat cells may increase in size and result in recurrence of the fatty deposits.

360 Liposuction Frequently Asked Questions

How is 360 liposuction performed?

360 liposuction is performed under general anaesthetic. The back is treated first, then the patient is turned to treat the front and sides, completing 360-degree contouring. Power-assisted liposuction and VASER techniques may be used depending on your surgical plan.

Will the fat come back after 360 liposuction?

Liposuction removes fat cells permanently from the treated areas. However, if you gain weight after surgery, the remaining fat cells in those and other areas can enlarge. Long-term results depend on maintaining a stable weight through a healthy lifestyle.

How much fat can be removed safely?

The safe amount depends on your weight, BMI, overall health and operative time. Higher volumes relative to BMI are associated with higher complication rates. Mr Nassab will recommend a safe, personalised plan during your consultation.

When can I exercise after 360 liposuction?

Strenuous exercise is avoided for around 6 weeks after 360 liposuction. Compression garments are worn for the same period. Early exertion can raise blood pressure and heart rate, increasing the risk of complications during healing.

When can I have lymphatic massage after 360 liposuction?

Light manual lymphatic massage can usually begin from about 1 week after surgery. More intensive massage is generally possible from around 3–4 weeks, depending on your healing progress and the advice of your surgical team.

Where are the scars placed for 360 liposuction?

Scars are usually small — around 1 cm — and placed discreetly in the pubic region and the lower or mid back, where they can be easily concealed.

How much does 360 liposuction cost?

Prices start from £8,500 for 360 liposuction. Your final quote depends on the areas treated, technique used (power-assisted or VASER), and your personalised surgical plan — confirmed after consultation.
