The Breast Augmentation Procedure
Implant Placement
Implants can be placed either above the muscle (subglandular) or beneath the chest muscle (submuscular/dual plane). The optimal placement depends on your body type, the amount of existing breast tissue, and your desired result. Mr Nassab will recommend the most appropriate approach at your consultation.
Incision Site
The most commonly used incision is the inframammary fold (a small incision in the crease beneath the breast). This approach offers excellent access, precise implant placement, and a well-concealed scar. Alternative approaches are discussed where appropriate at consultation.
