What’s Included in the Price?
Every surgical quote from Mr Nassab is all-inclusive, so you know the total cost before you decide. The only separate charge is your initial consultation (£150). Your quote includes:
Surgeon's fee
Mr Nassab's fee for planning and performing your operation, including all routine post-operative reviews with him.
Anaesthetist's fee
For procedures under general anaesthetic or sedation, your consultant anaesthetist, who looks after you during surgery and in the immediate recovery period.
Hospital & theatre fee
The operating theatre, nursing care, your private room and any overnight stay at a CQC-regulated hospital.
Implants & devices
Where your procedure uses them, implants (such as Motiva) or devices are included in the quote.
Aftercare
Routine follow-up appointments, dressings and compression garments where applicable — no hidden surgical extras.
What Affects the Cost of Breast Reduction?
Amount of tissue removed
Larger reductions take longer and may need an overnight stay, which affects the hospital fee.
Technique and scar pattern
Depending on your size and skin, Mr Nassab may use a vertical (lollipop) or anchor (Wise) pattern. Liposuction is sometimes added to refine the sides of the chest.
Asymmetry
If one breast is much larger than the other, the two sides are planned individually.
Hospital stay
Many patients go home the same day or after one night; the length of stay changes the hospital fee.
Other Things to Budget For
Allow about two weeks off desk work, longer for physical jobs, and avoid heavy lifting and exercise for around six weeks. You will need a supportive surgical bra for several weeks.

Can I get a breast reduction on the NHS?
Some patients with significant symptoms, such as back and neck pain or skin problems, may be eligible for NHS breast reduction, but criteria are strict (often including BMI limits) and vary by area. Waiting lists can be long, which is why many patients choose private surgery.
Will I be able to breastfeed afterwards?
Many women can still breastfeed after a reduction, but it cannot be guaranteed. Mr Nassab will discuss this with you if you plan a future pregnancy.
Is finance available?

Is a breast reduction covered by private health insurance?

Why are prices lower abroad?
Lower prices abroad usually reflect lower overheads, shorter hospital stays and limited aftercare rather than better value. If something needs attention after you fly home, you may have to pay again to have it managed in the UK. The Royal College of Surgeons and BAAPS advise choosing a GMC-registered specialist plastic surgeon operating in a regulated hospital, and not deciding on price alone.
