Surgery abroad: the true cost
Overseas packages for breast lift with implants can appear much cheaper, but they often include limited follow-up and very short stays before flying home. Flying soon after surgery raises the risk of blood clots, and wound healing problems, which are more common after combined lift surgery, may arise after you return. Corrective surgery in the UK can then cost more than having the operation here in the first place. Ask who will manage any complication and where.
Longer-term costs to think about
It is sensible to budget beyond the operation itself. Breast implants are not lifetime devices, and at some point in the future you may choose or need to have them replaced or removed, which is a separate procedure. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight change and ageing can also alter the lifted shape over time.
