What’s Included in the Price?
Every surgical quote from Mr Nassab is all-inclusive, so you know the total cost before you decide. The only separate charge is your initial consultation (£150). Your quote includes:
Surgeon's fee
Mr Nassab's fee for planning and performing your operation, including all routine post-operative reviews with him.
Anaesthetist's fee
For procedures under general anaesthetic or sedation, your consultant anaesthetist, who looks after you during surgery and in the immediate recovery period.
Hospital & theatre fee
The operating theatre, nursing care, your private room and any overnight stay at a CQC-regulated hospital.
Implants & devices
Where your procedure uses them, implants (such as Motiva) or devices are included in the quote.
Aftercare
Routine follow-up appointments, dressings and compression garments where applicable — no hidden surgical extras.
What Affects the Cost of Blepharoplasty?
Upper, lower or both
Upper eyelid surgery removes excess skin and hooding; lower eyelid surgery treats bags and is more technical. Doing both together costs less than two separate operations.
Local or general anaesthetic
Many upper blepharoplasties are done under local anaesthetic, which avoids the anaesthetist's fee and shortens recovery.
Brow position
If your brows have dropped, a brow lift may give a better result than eyelid surgery alone. Mr Nassab will check this at consultation.
Other Things to Budget For
Most people are comfortable going out after one to two weeks once bruising settles. Avoid contact lenses and eye make-up for about two weeks.

Can I get blepharoplasty on the NHS?
Only if drooping skin significantly blocks your vision, confirmed by a visual field test, and depending on local policy. Cosmetic eyelid surgery is not NHS funded.

Lower eyelid surgery treats fat bags and the lid support and carries different risks, so it takes longer and is more technical.

Why are prices lower abroad?
Lower prices abroad usually reflect lower overheads, shorter hospital stays and limited aftercare rather than better value. If something needs attention after you fly home, you may have to pay again to have it managed in the UK. The Royal College of Surgeons and BAAPS advise choosing a GMC-registered specialist plastic surgeon operating in a regulated hospital, and not deciding on price alone.
