What is included in the price?
The quote covers the surgeon’s fee, your consultant anaesthetist, hospital and theatre charges including any overnight stay, compression garments, and all routine follow-up appointments. Because abdominoplasty usually requires a night in hospital, always check the quote includes the stay.
What affects the cost of a tummy tuck?
The main driver is the type of tummy tuck. A mini-abdominoplasty addresses only the skin below the belly button and is quicker and cheaper. A full abdominoplasty removes more skin, repairs separated abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) and repositions the belly button. Adding liposuction for a better contour, or extending to a 360 procedure, increases theatre time and cost. Complexity, your BMI and any previous surgery also play a part.
